Pioneer Day Parade was a blast! Lots of participation and really great floats – especially from the school kids. We were just behind the 5th grade float that sported a mini log cabin and a mini tipi. Very creative!
The car show was impressive – and dinner at the school delicious. I was honored to sit with past Pioneer Day royalty while enjoying great food and conversation. Thanks to all who made it happen.
A bluebird morning here on the mesa with nary a cloud in the sky as the frost dissipates. Later I’ll be heading up to Steamboat Springs to get a tour of Twin Enviro – a privately run recycling, composting and construction recycling venture. Gathering more input for the regional compost planning grant we’ve been working on this past year.
