Indigenous People’s Day

A beautiful and moving experience this morning as Indigenous People’s Day started off in Placerville with the dedication of a plaque honoring the Nuche (Utes) who lived here before us. Wonderful to witness the event.

Now off to Heritage Harvest Festival in Naturita for the Apple Core project with cider pressing and other fun and games!

Then to Telluride this evening for drumming and dancing in Elks Park and the Indigenous People’s program at the Opera House.

Amazing opportunities to celebrate this amazing place and those who have made it their home.
